Yes. Landscapey connects to QuickBooks Online two ways, and you pick in Settings after you link your account. Sync is the ongoing connection: invoices you create in Landscapey push into QuickBooks Online automatically, and the payments against them are recorded there too. Is the QuickBooks sync two-way?
No — and we’re deliberately clear about that. The sync is one-way, from Landscapey into QuickBooks. Invoices and the payments against them push from Landscapey to QuickBooks Online; nothing is pulled back the other direction on an ongoing basis, and Landscapey never modifies records it didn’t create. QuickBooks stays the system of record for your accounting. (Existing QuickBooks data comes into Landscapey once, up front, through the separate Migrate backfill.) A voided invoice on one side doesn’t automatically void on the other — a one-way design keeps your books predictable instead of letting two systems fight over the truth.
What actually syncs to QuickBooks?
The invoices you create in Landscapey and the payments recorded against them. On each push Landscapey finds or creates the matching customer in QuickBooks Online, preserves your invoice number as the QuickBooks DocNumber, and records a payment when the invoice is paid — so you’re never entering the same invoice twice. Your customers, past invoices, and expenses come in the other direction once, through the one-time Migrate backfill.
